Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 July 2022, a telephone conversation took place between acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the Iranian side fully supports the efforts of the leadership of Uzbekistan to ensure peace, tranquility and interethnic harmony in the country.

Topical issues of expanding the Uzbek-Iranian multifaceted relations, primarily in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, were considered.

An exchange of views took place on various aspects of the upcoming events at various levels.
