Issues of establishing supplies of Uzbek fruits and vegetables to Russia discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 April 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov held talks with the owner of the Siberian Giant Trade Holding Alexander Mansurov in a video conference format. This was reported by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow.

During the dialogue, the possibility of organizing the supply of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to food supermarkets and wholesale and retail shopping centers that are part of the holding was discussed.

A supply calendar of demanded products was received from the Russian side. The embassy has already launched work with domestic producers in order to establish supplies of fruits and vegetables to the trading networks of the Siberian Giant holding.

The Siberian Giant Trading Holding was founded in 1996 in Novosibirsk. To date, the holding's trading network includes 34 food supermarkets and wholesale and retail shopping centers offering a wide range of goods.

The total sales area of the Siberian Giant TX is 77,271 sq.m., with over 3 thousand employees. Daily holding stores are visited by an average of 85 thousand customers.
