Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 26 October, negotiations of the first deputy chairman of the Association "Uztekstilprom" with representatives of the independent Franco-German group of financial services ODDO BHF were held.
ODDO BHF is an independent Franco-German financial services group created in an alliance of a French family business created by five generations of stockbrokers and a German bank. The bank has 2,300 employees and assets worth over 100 billion euros. ODDO BHF operates in three main lines of business, based on significant investments in market expertise: private banking, asset management and corporate and investment banking.
The foreign side was given information about the economic reforms being carried out in the republic, as well as the achievements and potential of the textile industry of the republic. The importance of attracting financial instruments of the organization to further increase the financial and economic stability of domestic textile enterprises was noted.
Representatives of the company also informed about their interest in establishing close cooperation with enterprises of the textile industry of Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the group can take part in financing new investment projects in the textile sector in Uzbekistan, as well as export contracts for the sale of domestic products.
According to the information of the foreign side, financing of projects can be carried out both with the participation of banks of the republic as a guarantor, and directly to the address of enterprises. To date, ODDO BHF has already directly funded projects in the field of energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals in Ukraine, Turkey and other countries.
At the same time, it was especially emphasized that the main requirement of the organization for the implementation of direct financing of the project without the participation of the banks of Uzbekistan is the compliance of the financial and accounting reports of textile companies.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on a procedure for joint actions for the implementation of pilot projects in Uzbekistan with the involvement of financial instruments "ODDO BHF".
An agreement was also reached to continue negotiations in this direction during the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Germany in November this year.
