During the meeting, the sides discussed actual issues of bilateral relations, as well as international and regional problems, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
Within consideration of priority directions of expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation, the sides affirmed mutual interest in implementation of the joint projects with attraction of advanced Israeli technologies in agriculture, water saving and power sectors.
The Uzbek side expressed gratitude for his constructive contribution to development of the Uzbek-Israeli cooperation.
In his turn, Hilel Newman expressed gratitude to creation of favourable conditions for successful execution of his mission in Uzbekistan.
As reported earlier, Carmela Shamir has been appointed as new Ambassador of Israel to Uzbekistan. She will become first Israeli woman envoy in Uzbekistan.
