Israeli doctors to conduct master classes in Tashkent

The delegation will participate at seminars with participation of Uzbek specialists and conduct master classes, as well as examine patients. They will also familiarize with activities of medical establishments in Uzbekistan.

Fund Forum said that it is planned that “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association and iMER will sign a memorandum of cooperation.

The visit was organized by “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Science Academy, Immunology Institute of Uzbekistan Science Academy, Republican Oncology Scientific Center and Medical rehabilitation complex Salus Vita.

The delegation includes Shlomo Maayan, a specialist on infectious diseases, Tova Goldberg-Clein, a leading specialist on hepatology of University clinic of Hadassah, Michael Icekson, a plastic surgeon, Igor Nemirovsky, an oncology doctor, Ilan Tamir, a director-general of iMER Israel Ltd, and Anna Benchtein, a medical director of iMER Israel Ltd.

Igor Nemirovsky, Michael Icekson, Ilan Tamir and Anna Benchtein will conduct a presentation and master classes for oncology doctors of Tashkent city on 17 May. Ilan Tamir will also present Hadassah Clinic and iMER.

The Israeli doctors will visit Republican Oncology Scientific Center to meet local doctors and examine patients on the same day.

Shlomo Maayan will visit Republican AIDS Center on 18 May, while Tova Goldberg-Clein will visit hepatology center at Republican specialized surgery center named after Vahidov to communicate with Uzbek doctors.

Igor Nemirovsky and Michael Icekson will consult and examine women with breast cancer at Salus Visa on 18 May and familiarize with operations of the clinic.

Shlomo Maayan, Tova Goldberg-Clein, Ilan Tamir and Anna Benchtein will hold a seminar for specialists on infectious diseases and treatment of hepatitis.
