The 21-year-old driver from Tashkent will join an international crew that includes Rossa brand founder, multiple endurance racing champion and Le Mans 24 Hours podium finisher Roman Rusinov, leading Emirati racing driver Amna Al Qubaisi, and young prospect Vyacheslav Gutak.
Ahmedkhodjaev’s participation will mark a historic milestone, as he becomes the first driver from Uzbekistan to take the start of the 24-hour race in Dubai. The achievement is seen as an important step in the development and popularisation of motorsport in the country, as well as in strengthening the international presence of Uzbek athletes.
During his career, Ahmedkhodjaev has competed in the European Formula 4 Championship, served as a test driver in Formula 3, and is a two-time national karting champion of Uzbekistan.
