Iraqi Business Delegation Explores Uzbekistan’s Electrical Engineering Industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of Iraqi entrepreneurs visiting Uzbekistan on a working trip explored the country’s electrical engineering potential, touring TEXNOPARK LLC in Tashkent. The delegation was joined by Iraqi Minister of Trade Asir Dawood Salman Al-Gurairi.

TEXNOPARK occupies 103.3 hectares and implements 17 investment projects with a total value of $465 million. The enterprise has created 6,500 jobs and produces over 100 types of electrical and other industrial products.

The delegation showed particular interest in the exhibition held on the premises, where more than 30 companies displayed around 400 product samples.

Following the visit, the Iraqi business representatives praised Uzbekistan’s achievements in the electrical engineering sector, the diversity of its products, and the scale of ongoing projects, while discussing opportunities to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
