IOM Provides Uzbekistan with Equipment to Support the Population Census and Agricultural Surveys

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 December, the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to discuss cooperation within the framework of the population census and agricultural research.

Following the talks, the IOM provided electronic equipment, including laptops, tablets, and other technical devices.

The equipment will be used to encourage citizens who registered online during the census, as well as to reward the winners of the “Best Promotional Material” competition held among media representatives, journalists, and bloggers.
