Investment projects for US$24.5 million for implementation on the territory of the Angren Free Economic Zone to be realized

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the Government “On additional measures to revitalize the activity of the free economic zone “Angren” was adopted.

The document said that the territory of the free economic zone “Angren” is expanding due to the accession of non-agricultural land plots to the city of Bekabad of Tashkent region.

The formation of the Investment Program for 2020-2021 ensures the inclusion of projects for the development of engineering, communication and production infrastructure of the Angren FEZ in the newly merged territory.

Promising investment projects with a total cost of US$24.5 million for implementation in the Angren Free Economic Zone have been worked out.
