International School of Mathematics opens in Bukhara region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On creation of the “International School of Mathematics” in Karakul district of Bukhara region” was adopted.
According to the resolution, the specialized state general education boarding school No. 1 of Karakul region received the status of the “International School of Mathematics”.
One of the main tasks of the international school is an in-depth study of the exact and natural sciences using modern information technologies, as well as foreign languages, demonstrating the creative potential of students, and preparing them for participation in republican and international subject Olympiads.
Starting from the 2019-2020 academic year, 90 students will be admitted to the 7th grade of the school.
Foreign students interested in mathematics can study at an international school on a contractual basis.
In addition, in order to better educate students, the international school is also allowed to recruit teachers from abroad.
Starting from the academic year 2019-2020, a 100-percent premium will be paid to the director, deputies and teachers of the international school at the expense of budgetary funds.
