Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On the formation of the Al-Khwarizmi International Physics and Mathematics Boarding School” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, on the basis of the specialized state boarding school No. 1, located at Khorezm region, Shavatsky district, Komilzhon Otaniyozov street, house No. 65, the Al-Khorezmi International Physics and Mathematics Boarding School was formed.

The resolution defines the main tasks of the international school.

In particular, the international school organizes in-depth training in the exact and natural sciences, as well as foreign languages, based on state educational standards of general secondary education with the widespread use of modern information technologies.

Starting from the 2020-2021 academic year, 60 students will be accepted to the 7th grade of the international school.

Also, in an international school:

- on a contractual basis, gifted students who are citizens of foreign countries can receive education;

- training programs of foreign countries may apply;

- it is allowed to hire teachers from foreign countries.

According to the resolution, the international school will be provided with all necessary equipment and a 20-seat residential building will be built for the school.

By resolution, the Ministry of Justice is allowed to open a treasury account to collect sponsorship donations.
