International investment forum "Invest in Namangan" ends

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 June 2019, the participants of the international investment forum Invest in Namangan familiarized themselves with the activities of such major export-oriented companies in the Namangan region as Istiқlol Markazi, Art Soft Tex, Merrimed Farm , “Chortto Resort”, “Chortic Mineral Water” and other enterprises.

In addition, foreign guests visited cultural, historical and tourist sites in the Namangan region, such as the Akhsikent archaeological complex, Isokhton Tours Ibrat complex and others.

Representatives of foreign companies met in the Khokimiyat of Namangan region.

According to preliminary data, the main outcome of the forum were signed investment agreements and contracts totaling more than US$300 million.

The event was organized by the State Tourism Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khokimiyat of Namangan Region in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and other relevant departments.
