International Industrial Fair starts in Tashkent

The event is aimed at assisting businesses, optimizing production, strengthening and developing inter-industrial and intra-industrial cooperation.

The forum, which will take place till 1 November, is attended by 1,700 industrial enterprises, working in various sectors of economy of Uzbekistan, and over 1,200 foreign firms and companies, interested in trade and investment cooperation with the Uzbek partners.

The exhibition presents over 20,000 exhibits, including 600 new products, production of which is planned within the programme of localization of ready goods, spare parts and materials for 2014-2016.

Within the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, the participants can sign agreements on supply of consumer goods to internal and external markets, form portfolio of orders for next year, which will help enterprises of the real economy to expand business contacts on production and supply of raw materials, spare parts and components, as well as new goods.

The participants of the fair will have chance to familiarize with new products, production of which will be launched in near future and goods, which are offered for production within cooperation.

The participants and the visitors can participate in the presentations of the industries and enterprises, as well as the region.

It is expected that the agreements on supply of products for about 8 trillion soums and export of goods for US$6.7 billion will be signed within the fair.
