Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The International Digital Technology Center Enterprise Uzbekistan has issued shares totaling 40 billion soums to form its charter capital. The issuance was registered on 24 February 2026.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Enterprise Uzbekistan JSC was established on 25 December 2025, by LLC Directorate of the Software and IT Technology Park (IT Park), which itself was founded on 11 January 2019, by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
By decree No. UP-233 dated 26 November 2025, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a special legal regime (SLR) for the Center, based on the common law of England and Wales and standards of leading international financial centers.
Under this regime, disputes involving center residents may be considered in an independent specialized court outside the Uzbek judicial system. The decree also allows financial, consulting, investment, and legal services to be provided by companies that are not residents of the Center.
Additionally, the decree provides for the drafting of a Constitutional Law “On the International Digital Technology Center,” the creation of the Center’s Governing Council—chaired by the President—with the Secretary being Bobur Khodjaev, Head of the Department for FinTech, Digitalization, and AI of the Presidential Administration.
