International Culinary Festival Zira Fest 2025 Held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 30 September to 2 October, the international culinary festival Zira Fest 2025 took place at the UzExpoCenter exhibition complex, becoming one of the largest events in the regional food and culinary industry.

The forum brought together over 100 companies and leading global gastronomic brands, providing a platform for business networking, experience exchange, and entry into new markets.

The festival featured a gastronomic fair with 30–50 market stalls, as well as an outdoor food truck area offering visitors a wide variety of national and international dishes.

The program included masterclasses by renowned chefs from Italy and CIS countries, entertainment shows, and concerts.

Among the fair participants was the Uzbek agro-cluster UzRice, which showcased a broad range of products, including traditional rice varieties (brown, round-grain, basmati), as well as more than 18 types of cereals and legumes.

“Participating in Zira Fest was an excellent opportunity to present our products to a wide audience, strengthen business connections, receive direct feedback from customers, and enter export markets. We have already reached a number of new agreements, including with regional companies we had not previously collaborated with,” said Ibrahim Muratov, founder of the UzRice brand.

The festival demonstrated strong interest in local products, stimulated demand for eco-friendly and high-quality food, and contributed to the development of gastronomic tourism and the expansion of international cooperation in the food industry.
