The international conference is held under the auspices of the United Nations (UN).

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in the international conference.

About 500 guests, including the heads of international organizations, the UN and EU leadership, foreign ministers of foreign countries, representatives of the expert community, as well as foreign news agencies and media are taking part in the international conference.

Within the framework of the conference, the guests will visit historical monuments, sacred places of worship and other sights of Samarkand, educational and medical institutions, industrial enterprises.
