Interest to UzLiDeP project “With diploma to business” is increasing

Executive Committee of Political Council of UzLiDeP has been implementing a project “With diploma to business” among graduates of higher educational establishments and professional colleges. The interest of students to the project is growing each year.

Special educational courses have been started within the project in all regions of Uzbekistan for graduates of higher educational establishments and professional colleges.

Academic lyceum No. 2 under Jizzakh State Pedagogic Institute hosted a Jizzakh city stage of the project “With diploma to business – 2014”.

During the seminar, the participants received information on legal bases of financing of business projects by the banks, process and conditions of credit registration, taxes and tax preferences for small businesses, insurance, state registration of the businesses, etc.

Jahongir Ganiev, a student of the third course of Jizzakh Professional College of transport and communication, said that he participates in the project with his business plan on production of furniture. Within educational seminar, he received useful information on running own business. He said that he received actual information on registration of business, their financing, conditions of their operations.

About 42 graduates of higher educational establishments and professional colleges participated in the event with the business plans in various spheres. Ten projects were selected within the seminar and they will participate in regional stage of the project.

It is worth to mention that about 612 graduates participated in the project in 2013. About 59 youngsters successfully organized their businesses and received loans for 246.36 million soums. This helped to create about 100 new jobs.
