Interaction of Constitution Court and other courts discussed in Tashkent
It was organized by the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Venice Commission of the European Council. It was attended by members of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and Supreme Economic Court, National Human Right Center, Ombudsmen, ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, experts from France, Germany, Latvia and Lichtenstein.
During the events, the participants considered issues of interaction of the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan with other courts and human rights centers, reforms in judicial-legal spheres, improving role of parliamentary control, etc.
The participants of the event discussed issues of protecting human rights and freedoms. It was said that cooperation of the courts with state bodies and human right centers will ensure effective protection of human rights and freedoms.
At the conference, the participants adopted recommendations on further improving of the Constitutional Court with other courts and national human right centers.
