Inter-Parliamentary Groups of Uzbekistan and Qatar Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 December 2025, an online dialogue was held between members of the inter-parliamentary cooperation groups “Uzbekistan–Qatar” and “Qatar–Uzbekistan,” focusing on the development of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between the two countries is developing steadily on the basis of mutual trust and respect.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, including regular meetings of friendship groups, exchanges of views on legislative issues, and discussions of joint initiatives.

The sides discussed the exchange of experience in lawmaking, interaction between relevant committees and commissions, as well as the organization of professional development programs for young parliamentarians.

Following the dialogue, participants emphasized that such meetings would contribute to the further deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar and agreed to consistently continue their joint work.
