Insurers of Uzbekistan collect premiums for 622 billion soums in 9 months

At the same time, the volume of premiums for voluntary insurance totaled 454.28 billion soums in the reporting period (+ 32%) and compulsory insurance - 168.06 billion soums (+ 8%).

Insurance payments of companies in January-September 2017 increased by 109% - up to 197.71 billion soums. Payments for voluntary insurance exceeded 148.24 billion soums (+ 138%) and compulsory insurance - 49.47 billion soums (+ 52%).

The total authorized capital of insurance companies in Uzbekistan for the first 9 months of 2017 amounted to 297.7 billion soums, which is 30% lower compared to the same period in 2016.

The volume of investment of insurance companies increased by 75% in January-September 2017 and exceeded 1.449 trillion soums.

About 651.50 billion soums were directed to deposits (+ 67%) and 623.97 billion soums - to securities (+ 87%). The companies invested 99.87 billion soums (+ 132%) in real estate and 61.29 billion soums in the authorized capitals of companies (+ 20%). The volume of loans made up 8.16 billion soums (+ 18%) and other investments - 4.81 billion soums (+ 270%).
