INSUR Asia — Gathering of Insurance and Reinsurance Leaders in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 November, as part of the FINNEXT Asia International Forum on Financial Innovations in Tashkent, INSUR Asia will take place — a specialized conference for top executives of leading insurers and reinsurers, experts in business process and infrastructure digitalization, regulatory representatives, and major brokers from Uzbekistan, Russia, and other CIS countries.

The main theme of this year’s forum is “Insurance and Reinsurance in Asia: Strategic Growth, InsurTech Transformation, and the New Risk Architecture.” Participants will focus on new approaches to regulating financial stability and solvency of insurers under IFRS 17 and Solvency II standards, enhancing the investment appeal of the Asian insurance market, prospective regulatory requirements and risk management practices, as well as the use of artificial intelligence and big data analytics to personalize insurance and reinsurance premiums.

Special attention will be given to the development of the Asian reinsurance market, the impact of domestic risk redistributions on the global insurance market, the implementation of digital financial assets, new sales channels, and profitable insurance segments. Discussions will also cover the possibilities for climate risk insurance within the green agenda and emerging insurance solutions.

Expected speakers include Saidolim Nasretdinov, Advisor to the CEO and Director of the School and Academy of Insurance at KEIS Uzbekinvest; Gleb Yakovlev, Vice President of the All-Russian Insurance Association; Denis Gavrilov, Head of Ozon Insurance; Dmitry Udod, Director of the AI Development Center at Ingosstrakh; Vladimir Khursan, Co-founder of BIMA Insurance; Bahodir Shamsuddinov, President of the Actuaries Society of Uzbekistan; and others. In total, more than 30 speakers are expected to participate.
