Installation and verification of all electricity meters to be carried out at the expense of the power supply networks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan has made changes to the rules for the use of electrical energy.

According to the document, the territorial enterprises of electrical networks will cover the costs of maintaining all meters.

Also, consumers living in homes of 10 or more floors and dormitories will be able to receive a 50% discount for electricity if the installation of electric stoves is stipulated by town planning norms.

At the same time, the design and installation of electrical installations (transformers, power cables, switchboards, switching devices, electrical wiring, etc.) in these houses must be made taking into account the power indicated in the technical conditions.

In cases of theft and damage to the meter, paragraph 98 of the rules is applied, which is also supplemented by the norm in terms of meters installed inside apartments. It was clarified that the restoration of the meter installed inside the apartment is the responsibility of the consumer.

Responsibility for the meters installed on the staircase are carried out by organizations, which are in charge of the residential building.
