Innovation Ambassadors visit German Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of young scientists who went to Germany to get acquainted with the achievements of this country in the field of innovative ecosystem and science visited the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Members of the delegation not only received information about the activities of the ministry, but also analyzed what role the results of their scientific work and research can play in domestic science and the innovation ecosystem through various interactive activities.

Dr. Hendrick Meurs, who conducted training for researchers, praised the potential and capabilities of young scientists in Uzbekistan.

“I was in Uzbekistan five years ago,” said H. Meures. “I would not believe it if someone told me that such changes would occur in the country.” Along with deep reforms, people’s thinking is changing, which is evidence that society is changing dramatically.

It is noteworthy that the representatives of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research called the "ambassadors of innovation" members of the delegation who are familiar with the activities of various German universities, technology parks, and research institutions. It is expected that the results of scientific work and innovative developments carried out by members of this delegation, drawing on foreign experience, will bring Uzbek-German cooperation in the field of science to a new level.

It was noted that the development of German science is closely connected with international cooperation, the need to strengthen ties in this area was emphasized. In particular, Dr. Meures suggested that the Ministry of Innovation Development can act as an expert in further improving international relations.

Our young scientists who completed their trip to Berlin this week will visit the cities of Gall, Leipzig and Dresden, where they will get acquainted with the activities of leading higher educational and research institutions in these cities.
