Ingred Tersman appointed as Swedish envoy to Uzbekistan

Ingred Tersman has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Uzbekistan with the residence in Stockholm.
According to the foreign political body of Uzbekistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly-appointed Swedish envoy on 29 August 2016.
Ambassador of Sweden Ingrid Tersman handed over credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, to the Uzbek Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, the diplomats exchanged opinion on the issues of Uzbek-Swedish relations. They discussed perspectives of developing relations between two nations in political, trade-economic and other spheres, including in the format “Uzbekistan – EU”.
Abdulaziz Kamilov and Ingrid Tersman also discussed separate international and regional issues.
