Infrastructure of the logistics center Termez Cargo Center was studied

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 April 2019, a working group led by the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov made a trip to Surkhandarya region, during which the infrastructure of the logistics center Termez Cargo Center was studied.

He also studied status of implementation of the instructions of the Guidelines to create the most favorable conditions for establishing uninterrupted trade between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

As part of the trip, administrative and technical premises, industry showrooms with samples of domestic export-oriented products, offices of logistics companies, customs and fiscal authorities, stands of specialized agencies, state and private manufacturing companies were inspected.

According to the results of the assessment of the state of the objects, comments and instructions were given for operational execution. Emphasis was placed on enhancing the involvement of Afghan entrepreneurs in cooperation, as well as on finalizing organizational and technical issues in organizing the work of the Center.

As a promising proposal, the possibility of organizing a forum with the participation of representatives of the Uzbek and Afghan businesses to build long-term relationships and business contacts was considered.
