Information Day of Erasmus+ in Tashkent for Central Asia
The event was held on 15-16 May and attended by representatives of educational institutions and ministers of Central Asia, delegation of the European Union, European Commission, and others.
The event is directed at informing public on Erasmus+ programme and opportunities for cooperation to educational establishments of Central Asia, main directions of the programme, share recommendations to develop and implement joint projects.
Erasmus+ is a new programme of the European Union in sphere of education, development of youth and sport for 2014-2020. The programme united the best achievements earlier EU projects in the region. The project envisages financing of education of 4 million people and finance 125 universities. Its total cost is 14.7 billion euros.
