Information about the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum presented in Latvia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A briefing was held in the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia on the priorities for the further development of Uzbekistan, outlined in the Message of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis, and the First Tashkent International Investment Forum (TMIF), which will be held in Tashkent on 5-6 March.

It was attended by  this year, representatives of Regrand, Mega Grupa, SVC Group, SV Gulbis, Larifan, Coffee Hill, BAO, Sonora, ISMA, as well as the Chairman of the Cooperation Promotion Group of the Sejm of the Republic of Latvia, member of the Committee on Economics, Agriculture, Environment and Regional Policy R. Naudins.

“The forum will become an exclusive event, which is designed to bring together more than 1,500 heads of foreign and national companies, investors, exporters and international media on one site,” the Latvian media reported.

During the event, participants were introduced to the main directions of further development of Uzbekistan, including its active policy to attract foreign direct investment. The head of the diplomatic mission of our country in Latvia was also informed about the upcoming investment forum as part of a meeting of members of the Diplomatic Business Club (DBK). Representatives of the Latvian business community were invited to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be the largest in Central Asia and will reveal the advantages and potential of Uzbekistan and the region in economic cooperation.

Announcements about the holding of the TMIF in Tashkent are published on the website of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, as well as leading media such as the Latvian national news agency “LETA”, “Open City”, “Baltic Course” and others.
