Industrial and Agricultural Fair Opens in Termez with Participation of Afghan Entrepreneurs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  An industrial and agricultural fair has opened in Termez.

On 5 February, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, a large-scale forum was launched at the Termez International Trade Center, showcasing a wide range of industrial and agricultural products.

The event brings together delegations of entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, representatives and business communities from the Fergana region, as well as local producers.

At the opening ceremony, the Hokim of Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kosimov, emphasized that the fair serves as an important platform for strengthening interregional and international trade links, as well as promoting domestically produced goods to foreign markets.

The program includes product demonstrations, bilateral business meetings, and the signing of cooperation agreements aimed at expanding trade interaction and fostering economic partnership between regions and neighboring countries.
