Individual entrepreneurs receive number of benefits

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Individual entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan received a number of benefits.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to improve and improve the efficiency of work to ensure employment of the population”.

According to the document, individual entrepreneurs are exempt from paying a fixed tax payable for each hired employee.

Individual entrepreneurs, who organized in more than 5,000 people in rural areas, with the exception of populated areas, hairdressing, tailoring services for individual orders, shoe repair, and organized public baths are exempt from all taxes till 1 July 2023.

Also, individual entrepreneurs, who for the first time received preferential microcredit, are exempted from paying a fixed tax within 6 months from the date of receipt.

The document said that individual entrepreneurs will now pay a monthly fixed tax on transportation of goods by road with a carrying capacity of more than 3 tons. The fixed tax set at 2 sizes of minimal salary.
