Indian-Uzbek Friendship Society presented books for preschool institutions of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, within the framework of the cultural and tourist event held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the city of Delhi, the Indo-Uzbek Friendship Society handed over a set of books for preschool institutions of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo news agency.
Books are intended mainly for pupils of preschool institutions and are aimed at developing in children the knowledge of the English language from an early age.
During the event, Chairman of the Indo-Uzbek Friendship Society, honorary citizen of the city of Tashkent, Anil Shastri, noted that he was following with great interest “the positive changes and dynamic reforms that are taking place in Uzbekistan.”
“I was especially inspired by the fact that recently the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward five important initiatives that are aimed, in particular, at creating additional conditions for the comprehensive education and upbringing of young people. In support of the implementation of such noble initiatives, members of the Indo-Uzbek Friendship Society decided to donate a set of books on learning the English language for pupils of preschool educations of Uzbekistan,” Shastri said.
