Indian magazine dedicated special issue to parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Indian magazine “Business Central Asia” dedicated the January issue to the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.

The magazine included articles by experts, comments by Indian observers, informational materials on reform processes in Uzbekistan, and analytical articles on Uzbek-Indian relations.

So, in the article entitled “A new parliament has been elected in Uzbekistan”, in particular, the activity of political parties during election campaigns and debates is emphasized. This phenomenon, along with the growing role of the media and the widespread dissemination of social networks, indicate a new stage in the process of democratization of Uzbek society, the article notes.

The author of the article “Uzbekistan is a progressively developing country” provides detailed information on reforms in the country. It is noted that over the past three years, dramatic changes have been carried out in Uzbekistan, the country has opened up to the world, society and the media are becoming more dynamic.
