Indian business invests in Namangan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the International Investment Forum, which will be held on 7-8 June 2019 in Namangan, Indian companies intend to sign a number of agreements on the implementation of investment projects in the region.
At this stage, the volume of the planned Indian investments in Namangan region exceeds US$70 million.
The delegation of India, which will take part in the forum, will include more than 20 representatives of Indian business. They represent such areas as health care, pharmaceuticals, textiles, leather processing, construction, hotel business and others.
It is noteworthy that on 10-15 May, the delegation of Namangan region visited India. As part of a trip to Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi, negotiations were held with large Indian companies. In addition, a business forum was held in Mumbai with the participation of representatives of the business community of Maharashtra.
It should also be noted that last month, as part of a visit to the Namangan region, representatives of an Indian company, an importer of fruits and vegetables, Casa Bianca, signed a contract with the farmers and dekhkan farms in the region to export fresh fruits.
