Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the process of purchasing real estate, the requirement to have mandatory registration at the place of permanent residence is canceled.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to reform the procedure for permanent residence and registration at the place of stay”, starting from 1 April 2020, registration at the place of permanent residence in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region is not required for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the process of purchasing real estate in the regions.

The activities associated with registration at the place of permanent residence and the place of temporary stay of citizens of Uzbekistan are carried out via the automated information system "Manzil" of the Ministry of the Interior on the basis of the principle of "one window" through interdepartmental electronic interaction.

At the same time, registration of citizens of Uzbekistan at the place of permanent residence and place of temporary stay via the Manzil system is carried out:

in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region - starting from from September 1, 2020;

in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions - starting from January 1, 2021;

Violation of the registration procedure at the place of permanent residence and place of temporary residence cannot serve as a basis for the expulsion of citizens of Uzbekistan from the relevant territory and address.
