Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Eight patients with coronavirus infection were completely cured at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in Tashkent.

With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health, they were carried out to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation.

Among the survivors, 5 were from the city of Tashkent, 2 from the Tashkent region and 1 from the Ferghana region. One of them arrived from Dubai (UAE). The remaining 7 were infected by contact with patients with coronavirus infection. Of the patients, 2 are men and 6 are women. The oldest of them is 66 years old, and the youngest is 13 years old.

Up to this day, 50 patients have been treated in this clinic, and now their number is 58. There is no doubt that this is a special contribution of the clinic’s medical staff.

Thus, the total number of patients who have recovered over the past three days has reached 242, and currently the number of patients with full recovery from coronavirus infection in the country is 503.
