Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the same time, court decisions were made to recover 2.9 trillion soums in favor of the plaintiffs. The number of considered cases decreased by 45.8% compared to the same period of last year.
Over the past period, the largest number of cases were considered by the economic courts of the city of Tashkent, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Namangan, Andijan and Jizzakh regions.
In order to create convenience for the parties and increase the efficiency of the administration of justice, most of the economic cases considered in the course of action proceedings, that is, 24,326 cases were considered directly on the ground in field trials.
1,294 cases were considered by economic courts via video conferencing, which, as a result, saved the parties' funds in the amount of more than 926 million soums.
14,255 cases were considered concerning the protection of the rights of small businesses and private entrepreneurship and funds in the amount of 824.7 billion soums were collected in their favor.
During the reporting period, the bulk of the cases considered by the economic courts were cases arising from contracts for the supply of products, contracting, credit and the provision of utilities.
In addition, the Judicial Collegium for Economic Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan considered 302 supervisory complaints and protests in a supervisory manner. 147 decisions taken by lower courts were canceled and 36 judicial acts were changed.
