In the first five months of 2025, Uzbekistan imported cars worth US$325.3 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to May 2025, Uzbekistan imported 18,387 passenger cars totaling US$325.3 million. Nearly half of these — 9,789 units — were electric vehicles, according to the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The largest number of cars came from China, totaling 15,873 units. The Republic of Korea was the second-largest supplier with 1,882 vehicles.

Following them were India (168 cars), Japan (122), and the United States (82). Passenger cars from other countries amounted to a combined total of 260 units.
