Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the Special Republican Commission, from 21 March, entertainment facilities, including night clubs, discos, massage and spa salons, tea houses, canteens and points, public catering (except for food delivery services), karaoke, billiards, computer rooms are closed in all regions of Uzbekistan until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.

In addition, from 23 March, weddings and other family events and ceremonies with the participation of a large number of people are prohibited (the number of participants should not exceed 10-15).

These events are allowed to be carried out exclusively when absolutely necessary, with the closest people.

These measures are taken to prevent the widespread spread of the disease and timely detection and treatment of patients.

The Commission also considered the issue of the speedy return to their homeland of citizens of Uzbekistan who are currently abroad, and their placement in 14-day quarantine.
