In 2025, 479 Million Rides Completed Through Aggregators with Turnover Exceeding 9.6 Trillion Soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, a total of 224 taxi aggregators in Uzbekistan were integrated with the information systems of the tax authorities, according to the State Tax Committee.

Throughout the year, these platforms facilitated 479 million rides, generating a total turnover of over 9.6 trillion soums. Cash payments accounted for the majority — 6.7 trillion soums, or 70.2% of the total, while cashless payments made up 2.8 trillion soums, or 29.8%. The average fare per ride was 20,082.5 soums.

Passenger transportation through aggregators in 2025 involved 574,600 self-employed drivers. Among them, 339,681 drivers (59.1%) were aged 30–50, 189,547 drivers (33%) were under 30, and 45,398 drivers (7.9%) were over 50. Women accounted for 4,726 drivers.

In terms of annual income, over 15,500 drivers earned more than 100 million soums; 36,900 drivers earned between 50–100 million soums; 143,800 drivers earned 10–50 million soums; 71,800 drivers earned 5–10 million soums; 146,700 drivers earned 1–5 million soums; and 159,700 drivers earned less than 1 million soums.

The most popular vehicles among aggregator drivers were Cobalt (23.7%), Nexia (20.7%), and Lacetti (16.9%). Electric vehicles accounted for 1.9% of the fleet. Vehicle age distribution was as follows: 1–3 years — 16.5%, 3–5 years — 41.3%, 5–10 years — 11.3%, and over 10 years — 26.5%.

In 2025, taxi aggregators paid 128.2 billion soums in taxes, including 63.6 billion soums in VAT.
