Import of Cottonseed Oil to Uzbekistan Falls 49% to 976.7 Tons in Eight Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, from January to August 2025, Uzbekistan imported 976.7 tons of cottonseed oil from four countries, valued at US$522,300.

Compared to the same period last year, the import volume decreased by 937.2 tons, a decline of approximately 49%.

The main suppliers of cottonseed oil to Uzbekistan during this period were Kazakhstan with 634.3 tons, Azerbaijan with 320 tons, Afghanistan with 22.1 tons, and Russia with 0.2 tons.
