Implementation of amnesty resolution discussed in Tashkent

Senators, representatives of the Office of the President, Cabinet of Ministers, Supreme Court, courts on criminal cases, ministries of justice, interior affairs, healthcare and others participated at the event.

The event was aimed at explaining meaning of the resolution on amnesty, organization of the work in this direction, raise responsibility of officials, responsible for execution of the resolution on amnesty, the press service of the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan said.

It was underlined that transparency of implementation of the resolution of amnesty is one of key tasks.

At the meeting, the participants discussed at further strengthening of cooperation among courts, law enforcement bodies and responsible bodies on single implementation of the amnesty.

The participants underlined that it is planned to hold educational seminars to ensure full and quality implementation of the resolution on amnesty.

After the meeting, the participants developed recommendations on timely and effective implementation of the resolution on amnesty.
