Implementation of a number of projects with the participation of Mubadala and Masdar discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Intergovernmental negotiations took place on 2 May between the leadership of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, as well as leading oil and gas corporations.

During the talks, issues of a number of projects with the participation of UAE companies Mubadala and Masdar in the field of geological exploration, increasing production at existing and developing new hydrocarbon fields, as well as in the field of alternative energy were discussed.

Following the talks, the parties came to a common position on the order and timing of joint actions to implement these initiatives. So in May the Uzbek delegation will make a working visit to the UAE to work out specific projects.

By the end of the year, it is planned to complete all the preparatory and legal procedures to begin their implementation.
