Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 February 2020, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Nematov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Saleh Ahmad Al-Javarneh.

During the conversation, the state and prospects of development of the Uzbek-Jordanian interaction were discussed.

As emphasized, the first round of inter-MFA political consultations held in Amman in 2019 made it possible to identify the most promising areas of cooperation and to concentrate joint efforts on their implementation.

The meeting examined practical aspects of the participation of representatives of Jordanian business circles in upcoming events in Uzbekistan.

The parties also exchanged views on some issues of international and regional policy.
