Ilkhom Nematov meets with the Ambassador of India

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 August  2019, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Santosh Jha. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.

The parties conducted a comprehensive review of bilateral relations in the context of the implementation of the highest level agreements reached during the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India last year and participation at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January of this year in the IX international investment summit “Dynamic Gujarat- 2019. "

The parties confirmed mutual interest in building up the Uzbek-Indian interaction in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

The meeting also examined proposals on the schedule and agenda for upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels.
