Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 January 2020, in Minsk, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Nematov, took part in the first meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries of the Member States of the Commonwealth within the framework of the Uzbek presidency.

Permanent plenipotentiary representatives formed a draft agenda for the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will be held on 3 April 2020 in Almaty.

The main attention is planned to be paid to the issues of forming the agendas of meetings of the supreme bodies of the Commonwealth and the implementation of the decisions taken at them, as well as the organization of events within the framework of the Year of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Traditionally, work is planned on improving the activities of industry cooperation bodies in various areas, monitoring the progress made in the framework of the Commonwealth conceptual documents.
