II International Gastronomy Festival “Delicious Uzbekistan – 2025” Underway in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 27 to 29 November 2025, the II International Gastronomy Festival “Delicious Uzbekistan – 2025” and the Chefs’ Championship are taking place in Tashkent at the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan (CAEx) exhibition complex, as part of the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road.”
The event is organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the Uzbekistan Chefs Association and aims to increase tourist flow, expand the country’s range of tourism services, and promote the national cuisine on the international stage.
The festival is one of the largest gastronomic events of the year, bringing together professionals and guests from more than 30 countries, including Switzerland, France, Azerbaijan, Italy, Germany, Turkey, and others.
The Chefs’ Championship is held in accordance with the standards of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS). Participants from Uzbekistan and abroad showcase their skills across 12 competitive categories—from modern culinary innovations and national cuisine to baking and dessert shows.
The three-day program includes masterclasses, tastings, gastronomic exhibitions, and a Young Chefs Competition, where participants present contemporary interpretations of traditional Uzbek dishes.
Events of this kind actively promote gastro-tourism, enhance Uzbekistan’s image as a country with a rich culinary culture, and create new opportunities for professional exchange and international cooperation in tourism and gastronomy.
