Igor Sergeev Scores Second Goal for Persepolis in Iranian League, but Team Falls to Heybar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team striker Igor Sergeev netted his second goal for Iranian club Persepolis in the 22nd round of the national league.

The match against Heybar ended in a 2-1 defeat for Sergeev’s team. Ehsan Hosseini put the visitors ahead in the 11th minute, and Esmaeili Babaei doubled Heybar’s lead.

It wasn’t until the 89th minute that Sergeev pulled one back with a header, but it was too late to affect the final outcome.
