ICAO to Deploy Experts to “Uzaviatsiya” for Development of Uzbekistan’s Civil Aviation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has signed an agreement to provide Uzaviatsiya Agency with highly qualified foreign consultants and experts with international experience.

As a permanent ICAO member, Uzbekistan conducts its civil aviation activities in accordance with the organization’s international standards.

Amid large-scale reforms in the aviation sector led by the Uzbek government, cooperation with ICAO has reached a new level.

On 24 September, during the ICAO Assembly session, Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar and Uzaviatsiya Director Tokhir Nazarov signed the agreement, enabling the country to leverage international expertise and implement best practices in Uzbekistan’s civil aviation industry.
