Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul, within the framework of the public movement “Kindness and Support” with the assistance of Hyundai Engineering and compatriots living in South Korea, attracted another humanitarian aid in the amount of over 512 million 500 thousand soums (about 50 thousand 595 dollars), Dunyor reports.

Today, these funds have been transferred to a special account of the Khokimiyat of Syrdarya region.

The compatriots expressed the desire to send the charitable funds collected in the holy month of Ramadan to financially support the population of the districts of Syrdarya region affected by the floods as a result of the breakthrough of the dam of the Sardoba reservoir.

Thus, the total amount of charitable funds, taking into account previously collected by the diplomatic mission in Seoul and already transferred to the settlement account of the Charity and Health of Uzbekistan Public Fund, as of May 20 this year amounted to about 98 thousand dollars.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea expresses its sincere gratitude to everyone who takes part in this charity event.
