Hyundai buses and trucks to be produce in Namangan

President of Evergreen Motors Group (Republic of Korea) Kim Chang Kyong arrived in the region to conduct negotiations on implementation of the project.

Kim Chang Kyong was received by Khokim of Namangan region Khairullo Bozoroy. The sides noted that socio-economic, scientific and technical cooperation established between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea is strengthening.

Within the framework of the project, the company will assemble trucks with carrying capacity from 1 to 50 tons, as well as intercity, international and tourist buses, special vehicles.

At first, it will produce 1 thousand vehicles a year. Within three years, this figure will be brought to 3 thousand, including 2 thousand trucks and 1 thousand buses.

At the beginning, the spare parts will be imported from the Republic of Korea, then in accordance with the localization program for three years, the spare parts production will be localized.
