Hungarian envoy holds talks at MFERIT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 3 June Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in the Republic of Uzbekistan (with residence in Moscow) István Íjgyarto has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan.
It is worth to mention that István Íjgyarto is completing his mission in Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations the parties analyzed the current state and discussed the prospects of further expansion of Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical fields.
In 2013, trade turnover between the countries reached US$39.8 million, including export – US$1.3 million and import – US$38.5 million.
There are three ventures with investors from Hungary in Uzbekistan, including 2 – joint ventures and 1 – enterprise with 100% of foreign capital. Four Hungarian companies are accredited at the MFERIT.
